The program aims to increase excellence, including the training and retention of new generations of highly qualified specialists in the country, opening up the industry-science cooperation and easing the career development system.

ELIGIBLE ACTIVITIES
Creation and development of centers of excellence and competence centers, incl. renovation of the building stock, the equipment and the purchase of equipment;
Modernization of the scientific infrastructure and existing research laboratories of research institutes and higher education institutions conducting research in areas relevant to regional and national economic and social challenges;
Establishment and modernization of regional scientific infrastructures, incl. and unique collections and archives and regional partner facilities / distributed nodes of the pan-European research complexes identified in the European Roadmap for Scientific Infrastructure

The Ministry of Education and Science and its subordinate budget spending units; Bulgarian Academy of Sciences; Educational, training and scientific organizations and institutions, socio-economic partners, schools, universities, employers, branch organizations, vocational training centers, municipalities, non-governmental organizations, extracurricular pedagogical institutions, youth organizations, sports clubs, NAVET, companies in secondary vocational schools, National Representation of Student Councils, etc.
